Prolonged Service Outage
If a verified Examinex server failure prevents access to an active paid subscription for more than 48 consecutive hours during your billing cycle, a prorated or full refund will be provided upon verification.
Unactivated Bank Deposit Slip
If you transferred funds to our official bank account but your membership could not be activated within 3 business days due to an administrative issue, you may request an immediate bank refund.
Cancelled Tournaments
If a scheduled island-wide tournament is cancelled by Examinex due to not meeting the minimum participant quota (100 students), your ticket fee (LKR 300) is credited back or refunded.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are NOT issued under the following circumstances:
- Completed Examinations: Once examination credits or monthly memberships have been substantially used (taking multiple exams or accessing past paper answer keys), fees are non-refundable.
- Change of Mind: Requests submitted due to change of mind or personal scheduling conflicts after an active subscription period has begun.
- Disqualification for Cheating: Any student account suspended or disqualified due to academic dishonesty, anti-cheat violations (e.g. multi-device concurrent logins during tournaments), or Terms of Service breaches forfeits all fees without refund.
- Local Internet & Device Issues: Disruptions originating from local ISP disconnections, mobile data exhaustion, or outdated personal device software.
4. Tournament Ticket Refunds & Rescheduling
Examinex Island-Wide Tournaments feature strict competitive standards and prize pools:

Once approved, card refunds are submitted directly to the OnePay gateway. Credit/debit card statements typically reflect the reversal within 5 to 10 business days depending on your issuing bank (Commercial Bank, Sampath Bank, BOC, HNB, Seylan, etc.).
Direct Bank Transfer Reversals
For payments made via manual bank deposit, approved refunds are transferred directly to your designated Sri Lankan bank account within 3 business days of verification.
